Client Training: Creating a Facebook Page

This post details Facebook Business Manager set-up and Facebook Page set-up for our clients.

Our clients will need both a personal Facebook profile and a Business Manager account to begin managing their pages.

Before you begin

Make sure that you have a personal Facebook account to confirm your identity.

Create a Business Manager

To create a Business Manager:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/overview.
  2. Click Create Account.
  3. Enter a name for your business, your name and work email address and click Next.
  4. Enter your business details and click Submit.

This will allow us to transfer ownership to them so that they will own the Facebook page, and we can manage it.

Create a Facebook Page

Within Facebook/Meta Business Suite, click on the gear symbol in the bottom left-hand corner (settings). 

Click on “pages” under ACCOUNT.

Click the blue “ADD” button and then, “create a new Facebook page.”

This will allow Accordus to create the client’s new Facebook page. After the client sets up their own Business Manager account, we can transfer ownership.
