Using Accordus Phone Number – Verification

The Accordus phone number (615-392-0585) is used to email verification codes to [email protected]. Sometimes when you are trying to sign into a new system, it requires that you enter a verification code. We have the Accordus phone number set up to receive those verification codes and they automatically go to the [email protected] inbox. Everyone on the Accordus team has access to this shared inbox, so that when it’s needed you can jump in and get the verification code on your own. Here is how to access it:

What is a shared inbox? A shared mailbox is a mailbox that multiple users can use to read and send email messages. Shared inboxes do not have credentials to log into, users have to be added to shared inboxes to be able to access them.

How do I open a shared inbox? 

1. Log into your Microsoft Outlook email

2. Click on your picture in the upper right-hand corner of the screen

3. Click “Open another mailbox”

4. Type in the email address of the inbox you are trying to access

5. Click Open

Here is how to ADD a shared Accordus inbox to your Outlook online:

1. Right-click on “Folders” in the left-hand menu.
2. Select “Add shared folder or mailbox”.
3. Type in the email address of the inbox you would like to add.
4. Click “Add”.
5. The inbox will now load as a new folder in your left-hand menu.
