GoDaddy – How to Share a Domain with a Client

In order to share control of a domain with a client in GoDaddy, please use the following steps to avoid any errors in unauthorized access for clients to the rest of our client base in GoDaddy:

1. Make the client the owner of their domain from our GoDaddy account via a domain transfer. More information from GoDaddy on how to do that here.
2. Have the client send delegate access to [email protected], and accept that access from the Marketing inbox to be able to continue any DNS work we may need to do from our end. More information from GoDaddy on how to instruct them on that here.
