It is important that we all use TeamWork (the project management system that you are logged into now) the same way.

Main takeaways:
- Every task needs to be in TW. Never give someone a task via text message or email.
- No task should go overdue without awareness, approval, and a plan for it.
- All team members should check their assigned tasks once per day during the week.
- We follow the rule of: if it’s not in TW, it’s not real/due/required.
A few examples of when to create tasks:
- You receive version 1 of an email/flyer/social media and want some tweaks made >> assign a task to “Revise email based on client/Team Lead feedback”
- You notice a quick typo on something >> assign a task to “Correct the first line of [… graphic/email, etc.]”
When to not assign a task:
- You are working in real-time with a designer/comm coordinator, and they send you an email that says, “How about this?”. In this case, you can just reply with your thoughts without assigning a task of “Don’t go with that option”
Sending someone an email asking them to complete a task for you without also putting it in TW is not the Accordus way! We don’t want important things to get lost in our email inboxes.
With the exception of Shae, who doesn’t personally assign tasks in TeamWork, everyone else should!
